Hope4AI main objective is to raise awareness and improve the understanding of employers, workers and their representatives of the opportunities and challenges in the world of work resulting from the digital transformation

Our main objectives include:
AI Impact and Labour Relations
Building on the lessons from WorkTransitionCEE, this project explores the impact of AI on industries in Romania and Hungary, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and the Ukraine conflict. It aims to strengthen relations between trade unions and employers to tackle emerging labor market challenges brought about by technological advancements.
Technology Adoption and Fair Transition
A major focus of Hope4AI project is addresing the key challenges in Romania and Hungary, such as technology adoption, digital skills gaps, slow technology adoption, and the need for stronger social dialogue. Through research and national workshops with social partners, government, and labor specialists, it aims to ensure a fair transition and prepare the workforce for increased automation.
Digital skills and social dialogue
The project aims to raise awareness of challenges stemming from the lack of digital skills and the need for stronger social dialogue. Through national seminars, validation workshops, and co-creation events, it will foster dialogue among stakeholders, promoting a smoother transition toward a digital economy based on Skillscape research findings.
Employment and Inclusion
The project strives to create sustainable employment and inclusion opportunities in Romania and Hungary while boosting overall business competitiveness. Through coordinated labor market policies, Hope4AI aims to involve governments, employers, and workers in building a future of work that is inclusive and human centered.
Future goals

Raise AI adoption levels in Romania and Hungary to meet the EU's 75% integration target by 2030.

Co-create labour relations strategies through stakeholder workshops, ensuring realistic and achievable pathways for AI integration.
3.
Identify and overcome challenges in AI adoption, while aligning labor market strategies with fair practices and workforce development.
