The latest report, grounded in surveys and in-depth interviews with technology providers, highlights that while AI adoption is accelerating across Europe, organisational readiness remains uneven, particularly in Romania and Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A central finding of the report is that AI readiness is a multidimensional concept, encompassing infrastructure, data quality, workforce skills, leadership, governance, and organisational culture. Despite operating within the same EU regulatory framework, companies in both countries face gaps between formal compliance and actual implementation capacity. Technology providers consistently point to a fragmented landscape, where a small group of organisations are strategically prepared, a large share remain resistant, and many aspire to adopt AI without fully understanding the transformation required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The report further underlines that AI is embedded within broader services such as automation, marketing, and workflow optimisation, with companies primarily seeking solutions to concrete business challenges rather than AI itself. Overall, the findings emphasise that successful AI integration depends less on technology itself and more on organisational transformation.
