About the project
Hope4AI aims to prepare employees and employers for the upcoming transformations in the labour market driven by artificial intelligence (AI) and automation. Co-financed by the EU, this collaborative project brings together Romanian and Hungarian social partners to asses AI's impact, identify necessary skills, and ensure a smooth, fair transition to an automated future. Building on the results of the WorkTransitionCEE project, Hope4AI is committed to guiding industries through this significant change.

Our objectives
Adapting to AI and addressing the impact
The project focuses on three key areas: resilience, by equipping industries to manage the impact of AI on the labour market; cooperation, fostering collaboration between unions and employers to address challenges from emerging technologies; and continuity, leveraging the insights gained from WorkTransitionCEE project to prepare social partners for a successful transition.
Hope4AI explores the effects of automation, the IT needed skills, and the risks and opportunities arising from AI-driven changes in key economic sectors
Learn more about WorkTransitionCEE
The project was a significant initiative aimed at addressing the challenges and opportunities for the labour market associated with the impact of digitization and automation on different occupations and skills in Central and Eastern Europe. To dive deeper the risks, challenges and opportunities for job transition as a result of digitalisation and automation
Findings of the WorkTransitionCEE project
The WorkTransitionCEE research revealed that 64% of workers value technology, yet only 5% foresee fewer jobs or significant changes in their roles. This highlights a gap in understanding technology's impact on the workforce. With proper strategies, digitalisation and automation can support job growth and retention despite potential job transformations.
